About

BEAMES is the Bath Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Society! The new and exciting society for anyone who’s interested in engineering at the University of Bath. Primarily targeted at Mechanical and Electrical engineers, feel free to join no matter what you’re studying just to come on our amazing trips and events!

We run exciting trips to engineering-related places (think Airbus, Rolls Royce, Silverstone etc), hold some interesting talks by guest speakers, and obviously run some fun and exciting socials.

To join the society, simply head over to Bathstudent.com, click on the sign-up link, and pay using the secure online transaction service.

TrophiesLast year, BEAMES was nominated for a staggering 5 awards (more than any other society!) at the annual Students’ Union Societies Awards Evening.  These awards included Best Event, Best New Society, and the coveted Best Overall Society!
